Variety Day

C&PP (24kgs) (1,2) x 2 L/R

C&PP (32kgs) (1,1,1,1,1) L/R

2 x10 Onehanded swings (24kgs) L/R

2x10 Swings (32kgs)

Again finished off with a little bit of grip work - just some levering.

Didn't go quite as to plan this session - I wanted to get 5 x 2 with the 32 but my shoulders were just shot from last night. In fact I felt wrecked fullstop. So I cut it a little short and I'll go for a decent walk later. Get rested up to do it all again next week :)

Are you aware how quickly you are progressing? It is absolutely amazing to me that you have had the 32kg for a matter of weeks and are already putting the sucker overhead for multiple reps. Have you attempted snatches with it yet? I think I might be scared to, but at the same time I would be curious to try it. I went to a gym once when I was traveling that had some KBs, but it was kind of weird. They went from 44# to 88# with nothing in between. I could swing the 88, but there was no way I could've snatched it.
Anyway, got off topic a bit, but you are killing. It's a real testimonial to the effectiveness of this programming, and to your good work ethic. Keep going strong.

Martin - noone knows that as well as me. It doesn't feel that long ago that I got started and then I was only messing with the 16kg. But I'm happy I have this mentality that I NEED to be able to lift heavier and for more reps. It keeps driving me on. :)

Yes, I too am scared to try to snatch the 32 lol. TBH its not a great quality KB anyway so I dread to think what it would do to my hands...but it just feels so damn heavy still.
